I came into the station grumpy and annoyed. There had been nothing to do in East City. Perhaps there was a town that needed help?
Lior? That sounded exotic. My mother had been to Lior once. Said it was a beautiful place. That was three years ago. The city does not seem to be in such a good state now.
I have found my city.
The train ride was rather smooth. I sat down on a seat- far away from any dogs- and pulled out a book.
I held INTRODUCTION TO ALCHELMY in my gloved hands. My father had taught me alchelmy using it, and a few other tomes. But this was the one we started with.
It wouldn't hurt to reread it on a long ride, would it? Perhaps I would come across something that I had forgotten, or something Fathe had not bothered teaching me.
I sincerely hoped that only the first occurred. For Father had told me there were forbidden aspects of alchelmy. Did this book contain any?
I turned to the window and watched the racing landscape. Perhaps there was... and perhaps it would help me become state alchemist.
